Amy works alongside Dale Irwin practicing consumer protection, with her main focus on debt defense and Fair Credit Reporting Act violations. In her debt defense practice she represents individuals who are being sued by creditors, often defeating or cutting down the creditor's claim. In cases where there are violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, she fights to obtain compensation for our clients.

Amy began her legal career with the Consumer Protection division of the Missouri Attorney General's Office, where she prosecuted actions in defense of Missouri consumers. Since that beginning, Amy has continued to advocate for the rights of consumers by serving in Kansas City community initiatives to fight predatory lending and other abusive credit practices. She has been with Slough Connealy Irwin & Madden, LLC since 2007.
